Skillfair's membership is constantly growing and includes individual business advisors and freelancers - as well as larger companies and partnerships.

Some of our members offer general business advice, whereas others provide more specialist skills, but both groups bring a wealth of industry experience and knowledge. Our members are generally very well-connected, so even if you can't find exactly the person you need through a search we'll be able to locate the right person by asking our membership. The quickest way to do this is to post a project and let the Skillfair network do the rest.

Different types of advice require different qualifications and experience, so as you'd expect, our members have a wide variety of qualifications and accreditations. To help you select the right person or company for your needs we encourage consultants to load a full CV and details of their qualifications and experience.

We also run a quality-checking system to give you confidence that consultants take a professional approach - this includes taking up references. Each member's quality status is displayed on their profile - if you see against a consultant's name it means they've provided 2 referees as well as evidence of their professional standing.

Advertising your first project on Skillfair is free - and there's no commission to pay once you've chosen someone to work with. After that, project adverts are £30 a time.
