What kind of clients use Skillfair?
You will find direct consultancy opportunities on Skillfair that aren’t advertised anywhere else. Clients come to Skillfair for many different reasons, with a wide range of requirements for consultancy but generally they have one thing in common, the need to contact experienced and highly qualified professionals quickly and easily.
Our direct client projects fall into 3 main categories;
Help for small businesses and startups
We regularly receive requests for help in marketing, human resources, public relations and many other areas from SMEs who know they need specific help and are willing to pay for it (if they're looking for free advice our quality process ensures they're directed elsewhere!)
Specialised, one-off projects
Some of these projects require very specific technical skills - for example we've had requests for expertise in pipe-laying, wheelchair manufacture, business intelligence and corporate governance - but equally the skills may be generic with a requirement for experience of a specific industry.
Associate opportunities
Many of Skillfair's consultant members have well established relationships with clients in their niche or location and regularly tackle projects and contracts that require teams of consultants with complementary skills. They are usually looking for people with excellent skills and experience who understand how to work as an associate.

Skillfair membership also includes a comprehensive UK wide tender alert service for public sector and 3rd sector opportunities large and small.
