Regional variations

Having so much data to analyse from the fee survey last week, I didn't get round to checking the regional variations, so I've now added them to the detailed results. As last year, people who say that they work 'all over the UK' do better than anyone and the table is still topped by this category, London and the South East. What did surprise me though, was just how many people are truly mobile as this category made up well over 33% of the responses. More interesting still is the fact that Skillfair members report fee rates on average 11% more than the overall average!

Raising your on-line profile

While preparing for the Intelligent Online Marketing workshop next week I've been collecting up an assortment of simple ideas to help you boost your on-line profile, one of which is the very simple tactic of 'telling other people about it'. You may not have noticed but every page on Skillfair now has a Share button at the bottom. This is designed to make it easy for you to to bookmark pages or share them on the various networking sites. To share your own profile, just enter your full name into the Search field on the Skillfair home page, this should bring up a list including your profile, then view your profile and click on Share to select the site you'd like to use.

Workshop reminder

On the subject of the workshop we have about half a dozen places left, so if you're still deciding whether to come now is probably the time to book. It's on 17th March, in London and will run from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. We're really looking forward to meeting people and sharing ideas about online and social marketing. The cost is only £30 (£25 for members), including a light buffet, so why not book now?
