Our latest new service

What is Help-Me-Now

Help-Me-Now.biz is the latest service to be released by Skillfair. Following the announcements regarding the closure of Business Link, we knew that small and medium sized businesses would still need face-to-face business advice and our consultants were well placed to fill this gap. Members of Skillfair with appropriate skills and experience with small businesses are shown on the Help-Me-Now map by selecting or adding the SME marketplace to your existing profile.

Extensive research (http://www.bis.gov.uk/assets/biscore/enterprise/docs/r/11-507-research-into-business-support-channels) was undertaken by the Government in September/October 2010. A concern raised by the survey was that there was limited awarenesss amongst business of any alternatives to Business Link and one-fifth of respondents didn't know who they would turn to in the absence of the Business Link service and a further 1 in 10 said 'Nobody'. We know that our consultants have all the relevant skills and experience to step into this gap and we aim for Help-me-Now to become the 'go to' small business advice service in the UK.  There's simply no substitute for face-to-face advice, a fact which was highlighted in the research.

We also wanted to add value to small businesses and with this in mind we asked consultants to sign up to the Free Advice promise - an hour's free advice via phone or email - and to date over 500 of them have. That's a lot of business advisors who are ready and willing to give their time with no strings attached. If you've arrrived at this page because your business needs help, then hop over to http://www.help-me-now.biz and use the map to see who is available near you.
