Title	25817 Scoping Flood Risk Management portal
Summary	The aim of this project is to scope the development and delivery of a Local Flood Risk Management portal (i.e. on a publicly accessible internet website) in a phased approach that is a one stop shop for different practitioners to find and locate knowledge, as well as indicate ongoing work. This project will research the options and develop a prioritised plan for delivering a short-term and long-term solution to meet the identified needs. ‘Local Flood Risk Management’ covers flooding from surface water, groundwater and ordinary watercourses. This is distinct from river and sea flooding where the responsibility lies with the Environment Agency. It is largely synonymous with the sources of flooding covered by the Integrated Urban Drainage Pilot projects. Please e-mail to register your intention to tender before 20th November 2009.
