| Summary |
The Aims of this project are:
•To increase our understanding of the status, taxonomy and/ or autecology of selected priority species. The proposals should identify and address taxonomic, functional or habitat-specific sub-groups within the broad groupings below. It can include some non-priority species where the proposal would inform our understanding of priority species:
- Fungi - Bryophytes - Lichens - Ferns, club-mosses or non-vascular plants - Freshwater or terrestrial invertebrates (including moths, but excluding butterflies) - Herptiles
•Support conservation action for UK priority species through the production and dissemination of guidance for conservation practitioners or taxonomists, or through the wide dissemination of data and information on abundance and distribution.
Although only expressions of interest are required at present, in order to give an idea of the scale of the projects, the organisation will consider funding several projects with a value of between £25,000 and £100,000.
Completed forms should be returned by: 22nd January 2010 |
