The organisation plans to commission an external Review of a Climate Challenge Fund (CCF), a programme of innovative community projects working to reduce carbon emissions locally. The purpose of this review is to draw out learning from the CCF, to inform how to direct future funds of this type most efficiently and effectively. The review will focus on a small proportion of the projects funded under the CCF to enable comparison between projects, and to draw out more in-depth learning.
There are two overarching aims for the review, as follows:
Aim 1: To examine what works in community-led climate change projects which seek to change individual and community attitudes and behaviours in order to reduce carbon emissions.
Aim 2: To explore the impacts of a small number of projects on individuals, households and communities.
Estimated value excluding VAT:
Range: between 115 000 and 135 000 GBP.
